Photographer Dale Lang's background as an architect gives him a design professional's insight when setting up and capturing compelling building forms. He learned to shoot with large format equipment in architecture school and enjoys the digital refinements that continue to evolve today. One of his first jobs after graduation was taking photographs for a large international firm based in Los Angeles. Capturing compelling images is all about "seeing the light" and knowing the best time of day to shoot portions of a project. Preparation is essential and cannot be rushed or compromised. If possible, visiting a site with the designer and reviewing how light paints, penetrates and reveals a building or room's qualities always helps to prepare for the final photographs. Full cost proposals are always available. |
